    At Trivo Car Rental, we strive to provide clear, fair, and transparent booking terms for our

    clients. This Refund & Cancellation Policy outlines how cancellations, modifications, and refunds

    are handled for your car rental reservation.

 


 

1. Definitions

 

       
  • Booking means your confirmed reservation of a vehicle with us.
  •    
  • Pick-up Time means the scheduled time when you are to collect the vehicle.
  •    
  • No-Show means you fail to pick up the vehicle at the scheduled time without prior notification.

    2. Cancellation by the Customer

     

         
    •       You may cancel your booking by contacting us via email or phone:

    •       If you cancel at least 36 hours before the pick-up time, we will provide a full refund

            of the paid amount (excluding any non-refundable deposit), unless otherwise stated.

         

         
    •       If you cancel less than 24 hours before the scheduled pick-up, a cancellation fee of

            50% will apply.

         

         
    •       In case of a No-Show, the full rental amount will be charged and no refund will be provided.

         

       


       

      3. Refunds

       

           
      •       Refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 5–7 business days

              after we receive your cancellation request.

           

           
      • Any bank or credit card processing fees are to be borne by the customer.
      •    
      •       Certain special offers, pre-paid rates, or discounted rates may be non-refundable; this will be

              clearly indicated at the time of booking.

           

         


         

        4. Modification of Booking

         

             
        •       You may request a change of date, time, or vehicle type by contacting us at least

                12 hours prior to your pick-up time.

             

             
        •       Modifications are subject to vehicle availability and may incur an additional charge

                or rate adjustment.

             

             
        •       If you change to a lower-value vehicle or a shorter rental period, the difference may not

                be refundable.

             

           


           

          5. Cancellation by the Company

           

               
          •       We reserve the right to cancel your reservation in case of vehicle unavailability,

                  mechanical failure, or unforeseen circumstances.

               

               
          • If we cancel, you will receive a full refund of any amount paid.
          •    
          •       We are not liable for any indirect costs (e.g., travel or accommodation) resulting from

                  our cancellation.

               

             


             

            6. Exceptional Circumstances

             

                 
            •       For reasons beyond your or our control (e.g., flight cancellation, illness, natural

                    disasters), we may offer a refund or credit at our discretion. Documentation may be requested.

                 

                 
            •       Such decisions are made on a case-by-case basis and do not form part of the standard

                    refund entitlement.

                 

               


               

              7. Non-Refundable Items

               

                   
              •       Any late return fees, damage charges, fuel shortage fees, or other ancillary costs incurred

                      during rental are non-refundable.

                   

                   
              •       Prepaid add-ons or products may have separate terms (e.g., “non-refundable insurance waiver”).
